HS CleanDisk Pro

It can be very annoying when a message pops up in the corner of the screen, stating that drive C is running low on space. In situations like this, all you need is a cleanup utility which will identify and erase temporary files, caches and other non essential files. HS CleanDisk Pro does not limit itself only to this task. It comes with other tools for cleaning up the Windows Registry, finding duplicates, shredding files and more. Everything you need for basic maintenance and more can be found on the software's user friendly interface.

The setup kit is 4 Mb large, so you should not wait for too long while downloading. After a speedy installation process, you can run the program straight away. It can be used, free of charge, for a limited period of time, but until then, you can benefit from its full functionality.

The interface consists of multiple lists, which can be accessed with navigation buttons. The lists will display various statistics and results for certain tasks, like scanning for junk files, broken registry keys, installed software and much more. You can start searching for temporary files and other useless data in the Files category. Here you will find multiple tabs which display the same files list and the same Find button.

Depending on which tab you access, the Find button will perform a different action. For example, if you click the Files tab, the Find button will display a small window where you can target junk files of various types and formats. If you go to the Same Name tab, the Find button will display a different window, where you need to type a file extension yourself and select a partition or folder from a tree structure. Besides the cleaner, you will find other utilities in this section, including a file wiper and a duplicate finder.

You will find a registry cleaner as well. It works the same way as the hard drive cleaner, but you will not find any navigation tabs. Just click the Find button and select what types of registry keys to look for. HS CleanDisk Pro can uninstall multiple applications at the same time. The software uninstaller can be found in a different section, where you can select more than one entry from a list and click a button to uninstall them.

The program provides you with various statistics as well. You can find basic information about your computer, including the BIOS manufacturer, the name and type of your CPU and more. Other details include the free and used space on a selected partition, displayed as colored bars or pie charts or your RAM usage. When you view the statistics on your RAM, you will find a defragmentation option, which will free some of your memory.
